Chester Wallace Tote

Handmade in Portland by an established local craftsmen, Chester Wallace is the brainchild of Patrick Long – utilitarian, design connoisseur, and all-around good guy.  Patrick is a Parson’s design graduate and has worked as an illustrator for many a top fashion house.

Here Patrick has brought his attraction for utility to that most useful of Portland accessories, the tote bag.  Versatility is the key here and when Patrick first came to Portland he needed a bag that worked for his lifestyle.  The base is the perfect size for a 6 pack of beer and is an ideal grocery bag for those end of day trips or weekend excursions to any of our numerous farmer’s markets.  The shoulder strap adds more versatility and also allows it to fit perfectly on your back when cycling.  Another Portland utility is the ability to withstand the elements.  Made from showerproof canvas and a waterproof base, this should handle just about any Portland rain and keep the contents of the interior nice and dry.

Two interior pockets and exterior cell phone and "boarding pass" pockets also make this an ideal item of carry on luggage.  The differing shades of grey give the bag a simple, modern, and urban feeling with just a little touch of color from the orange twill tape that lines the interior seams and pockets.
