Inventory Magazine
We have received a few copies of Inventory Magazine Issue 1, Volume 1. The new semi-annual publication from Vancouver BC is a fine example of the tastes and style of Mr. Willms and company. It is evident the boys at Inventory have a genuine passion for what they do and it can’t be helped to respect that kind of vigor.
The first publication showcases interviews with Yuki Matsuda of Yuketen, Daiki Suzuki of Engineered Garments, Willo Perron, Christophe Loiron of Mister Freedom, and Nigel Cabourn, among many other features. These features give the reader a precise look at what goes into the thought process of the manufacturers and designers within this industry. "A Curation of Ideas in Product, Craft & Culture", the sub-title featured on the cover, is a fine examination of the contents contained inside. Packed with a lot of content and few advertisements, at 140 pages it is a substantial commentary on a sub-culture within North American society. Like its contents, I believe this publication will proceed to take on the style of its owner and only continue to refine with age.
